Job Summary
Assist the Store Manager in maximizing store sales, controlling expenses, and protecting company assets while maintaining optimal staffing levels. Model brand-specific service standards, monitor customer feedback, and lead weekly visual merchandising changes to ensure consistent store operations and merchandising directives. Educate staff on product assortments, execute training programs, and coach associates to enhance selling and customer engagement. Manage store schedules, conduct loss prevention audits, and address performance issues in partnership with leadership to drive team growth. Maintain compliance with all HR, payroll, and safety policies while fostering a sustainable, inclusive culture that aligns with Kontoor Brands' strategic priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of retail sales experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Open availability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business; will require weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Ability to stand during scheduled shifts for up to 8 hours
- Walking and moving to assist customers, retrieve merchandise and recover the store
- Lifting and carrying, ability to maneuver and/or lift up to 25 lbs. regularly, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to push/pull full racks of merchandise for restocking the store
- Ability to reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items from shelves, restock, and maintain store cleanliness
- Manual labor is required occasionally to assemble displays and/or rearrange the store layout
- Vision to accurately read labels, assist customers, and tasks that require attention to detail
- Ability to use fine manipulation, and grasp with hands to sort and clothing, ex. place on hangers, folding, organize in color/size order
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficient computer skills including e-mail, word processing, spreadsheets, and software programs
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of supervisory experience preferred
