Job Summary
Join WorldQuant BRAIN as a Researcher to create alphas and utilization algorithms, conduct research on academic quantitative finance literature, identify and design new research domains, and contribute to platform development, business development, and training activities. Bring a strong programming foundation (Java/C++/C/Python/MySQL/SQLServer; UNIX preferred), a research-minded and self-starting approach, and excellent communication in English. Degree requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree in a highly analytical field from a leading university. The role offers opportunities to work across research, platform improvements, and stakeholder engagement within a global, collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in engineering, science, mathematics, finance or any other related field that is highly analytical and quantitative from a leading university
- Demonstrated programming experience in one of Java/C++/C/Python/MySQL/SQLServer; knowledge of UNIX preferred
