Job Summary
Wound Ostomy Nurse provides inpatient clinical services across the hospital (Emergency Department and Wound/Ostomy Care Clinic) as a clinical resource and consultant for patients with GI, genitourinary, and integumentary disorders, including complex wounds, ostomies, percutaneous tubes, and moisture-related skin injuries. Responsibilities include direct patient care, clinical consultation, education, research, and administration, contributing to a multidisciplinary team within Covenant Medical Center as part of Providence’s patient-focused care culture.
Required Qualifications
- Texas Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association
- 2 years Acute care experience
