Wound Nurse RN Full time

Wound Nurse – RN/LPN provides primary skin and wound care to residents in a long-term care facility, following physician orders and facility policies. Responsibilities include identifying and treating skin conditions and wounds, completing wound assessments and follow-up, coordinating treatment with wound providers, documenting in medical records, participating in care plan development, educating residents and families, and maintaining infection control and compliance. Supervises CNAs/STNAs as applicable and participates in committee activities. Requires a current RN or LPN license and CPR certification; continuing education in wound care and pressure injury staging is required. Prior long-term care experience is preferred.
