Wound Care Unit Manager

Job Summary
Unit Manager oversees daily nursing operations on the unit, providing leadership, supervision, and clinical guidance to nursing staff. Works closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality resident care, with a strong wound care focus including assessment, evidence-based care plans, documentation, and education for residents, families, and staff. Responsibilities include supervising RNs, LPNs, and CNAs; conducting clinical rounds; ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations; participating in quality improvement initiatives and care planning; providing leadership coverage in the Director of Nursing's absence; and participating in on-call leadership rotations. Wound care duties involve assessing and managing wounds (pressure injuries, surgical wounds), developing and implementing wound care plans, monitoring healing progress, updating documentation, and collaborating with providers and interdisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license in good standing
