Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, perform wound debridement, and prescribe appropriate dressings at the bedside in post-acute care settings including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Round daily at multiple facilities within your designated territory while collaborating with staff to ensure effective wound care plans. Educate nursing staff and maintain open communication with primary care physicians, families, and clinical teams. Order necessary medications and provide clear instructions for their use to the geriatric patient population. Deliver wound care with clinical autonomy, requiring a valid state license and driver's license. No call, evenings, or weekends required.
Required Qualifications
- Active state professional license
