Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information, performing all duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards. This role requires a minimum of one year of wound care experience and includes a three-day schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at our Southfork facility. You will also need to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds regularly, with prolonged standing and walking each shift.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-year Wound Care experience
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
