Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information while performing duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards. This role requires a minimum of one year of wound care experience, current RN licensure, and Basic Life Support certification. The position involves a three-day schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with physical demands including lifting 50 pounds and prolonged standing. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-year Wound Care experience
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
