WOUND CARE REGISTERED NURSE, Per Diem

Coordinate comprehensive wound assessments and treatment plans, including goals, implementation, and outcomes evaluation for patients across the organization. Provide patient, family, and staff education on wound management, pressure ulcer prevention, support surfaces, and dressing selections. Serve as a resource for physicians, the wound team, and clinical staff while performing general nursing duties in all departments under adequate supervision. Develop skin care programs to prevent skin breakdown and participate in the organization's performance improvement plan. Perform wound assessment, reassessment, and management for neonates, pediatrics, geriatrics, and the general population using current wound management theory.
