Job Summary
Wound care physician or advanced practice provider needed for Charleston, IL. Responsibilities include weekly rounds at assigned long-term care facilities, diagnosing via physical exam and telemedicine, performing debridement as needed, collaborating with facility staff, informing patients about diagnoses and treatment goals, documenting each encounter in APRIMA EMR, and facilitating referrals. Requires MD/DO/PA/CRNP with active license, board eligibility/certification, and DEA license; strong EMR documentation skills; willingness to round in facilities; mileage reimbursement and malpractice coverage provided. Flexible schedule with part-time or full-time options; company provides laptop and dedicated nursing support.
Required Qualifications
- MD, DO, PA, CRNP
- Board Certified/Board Eligible
- Active, unrestricted state medical license
- DEA license
- Valid driver license
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with facility staff and patients
- Proficiency documenting EMR w/ strong attention to detail
