Job Summary
Provide patient care based on scientific principles and evidence-based practice, recognizing changes in patient conditions and intervening appropriately. Prioritize nursing actions reflecting patient needs and acuity while implementing physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames. Educate and counsel patients and their families on wound care processes and issues. This Monday through Friday role includes internal ongoing educational and training opportunities with continuous coaching and mentorship. Competitive hourly compensation is offered for this position.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required for Magnet Hospitals
- Valid Registered Nursing license
- Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- Prior experience working with wound care patients
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with billing and coding
