Job Summary
Implement and monitor skin preservation strategies while ensuring all wound and skin care protocols are approved by medical staff. Organize weekly multidisciplinary wound and skin rounds for high-risk patients and those with pressure ulcers, providing hands-on care for difficult and non-healing wounds. Serve as a resource to all hospital staff on wound and skin care issues and ensure all regulatory requirements are met. Complete wound care training within the first 90 days. Join a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to extended healing for chronic, critically ill patients.
Required Qualifications
- AD (Associate's degree in Nursing)
- One (1) year of related experience
- Valid State RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must complete wound care training in the first 90 days in the role
