Job Summary
Provide patient care based on scientific principles and evidence-based practice, recognizing changes in patient condition and intervening appropriately. Prioritize nursing actions by reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes while implementing physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames. Educate and counsel patients and their families on wound care processes and issues. Collaborate with all disciplines on the assigned unit to achieve optimal outcomes. Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends. Competitive hourly pay ranging from $40 to $43.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required for Magnet Hospitals
- Valid Registered Nursing license
- Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- Prior experience working with wound care patients
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with billing and coding
