Job Summary
Provide specialized wound care nursing in a skilled nursing community: perform wound assessments, wound debridement, dressing changes, and administration of wound care treatments; develop individualized wound care plans based on patient needs and physician orders; document care and patient progress in EMR; educate residents, families, and caregivers on wound care techniques and prevention; collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care and adherence to best practices; maintain infection control standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives; require Texas RN license and at least two years of clinical nursing experience with wound care.
Required Qualifications
- Current valid RN license in Texas
- Registered Nurse graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience with at least one year in wound care
