Job Summary
Provide specialized wound care assessment and management for acute and chronic wounds as part of an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include comprehensive wound assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, performing advanced wound care interventions (cleansing, debridement, dressing, wound closure), prescribing appropriate medications, ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests (cultures, imaging, labs), educating patients and caregivers on wound care and adherence, monitoring healing progress, and collaborating with surgeons, vascular specialists, and physical therapists. Maintain thorough documentation in EMR and participate in quality improvement and research activities. Auto reimbursement tools, tablets/cell phones provided; work mostly Monday-Thursday with occasional Friday hours; benefits include PTO, medical/dental/vision, 401K match, and insurance options.
Required Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner license
- Wound care certification or experience preferred
