Wound Care Nurse

Job Summary
Provide skin and wound care to residents per the established Care Plan, including evaluation, staging, and treatment of skin disorders, under physician orders and facility policies. Collaborate with the Care Planning Team to modify care plans as needed; document treatments and monitor progress of wound care, preventive measures, and resident education for prevention techniques. Requires 1+ year of wound care experience and current LPN or RN licensure in Alabama; strong communication, teaching, and leadership abilities to support a fast-paced, multi-priority environment.
Required Qualifications
- One or more years of experience in wounds, or a related field
- Current LPN/RN licensure in the state of Alabama
- Excellent communication, teaching, and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations
