Job Summary
Wound Care Nurse role providing patient care based on nursing theory and evidence-based practice; implement physician orders within appropriate time frames; recognize changes in patient condition and intervene; prioritize nursing actions based on patient needs and acuity; role includes wound-care focus for LPN/LVN on a Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends), with ongoing training and opportunities for career development.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LPN nursing license required
- Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association required
- Prior experience working with wound care patients preferred (Will train)
- Experience with billing and coding preferred
