Wound Care Nurse (LPN)

Supervise patient care by administering treatment as prescribed within standard nursing practice guidelines and in full compliance with established infection control protocols. Perform and record weekly pressure ulcer assessment and measurement documentation while monitoring wound healing progress to make recommendations. Provide orientation and in-service training to staff and personnel. Assure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including problem resolution and complaint investigation. Requires current Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) license and CPR Certification.
