Job Summary
Provide expert wound care and skin management for residents at Edgerton Care Center. Responsibilities include assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of wound care plans; collaborate with the Director of Nursing, nurse managers, primary physicians, nurse practitioners, and Medical Director; perform dressing changes, wound cleansing, medication administration per physician protocol, and wound redressings; document according to standards; ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines; deliver patient education on prevention and care; work 8-10 hours per week in a part-time, in-person role in Edgerton, WI. Requires RN licensure in Wisconsin, Wound Care Certification, CPR, and English proficiency; prior LTC experience preferred; strong communication and leadership skills. Schedule includes one day per week with flexible availability; compensation $41.00-$47.56 per hour depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure as an RN in the state of Wisconsin in good standing
- Must be Wound Care Certified
- Experience in LTC preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong desire to work with the elderly
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
- Possess skills in leadership and communication
- CPR certified
