Job Summary
Provide patient care based on scientific principles and evidence-based practice, implementing physician orders accurately and recognizing changes in patient condition to intervene appropriately. Prioritize nursing actions by reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes while working collaboratively with registered nurses on the assigned unit. This part-time role operates Monday through Friday with no weekends, offering internal ongoing educational and training opportunities for wound care nurses.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LPN nursing license
- Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- Monday - Friday schedule, no weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working with wound care patients
- Experience with billing and coding
