Wound Care Coordinator (RN)

Conduct comprehensive wound assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage acute and chronic wounds for patients across the facility. Chair the Infection Prevention/Control Committee, compile surveillance data, and calculate infection rates using CDC guidelines. Develop policies and procedures for infection control and wound management while providing orientation and in-service training to staff. Collaborate with physicians, clinical teams, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with standards and identify improvement opportunities. Maintain current knowledge of clinical products, staging systems, and evidence-based practices to support quality improvement initiatives.
