Job Summary

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate ostomy care for patients. Provide advanced clinical guidance to physicians and nursing staff regarding complex wound drainage, skin protection, and pressure necrosis prevention. Develop educational programs for staff and determine appropriate nursing interventions for identified patient problems. Create patient care plans and select stoma sites prior to surgery based on anatomy and lifestyle. Supervise clinical staff members in relation to wound care. Work full-time with competitive wages and benefits including dental, vision, and 401K.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing
  • Valid RN license in the state employed
  • Valid CPR certification

Desired Qualifications

  • Two year of nursing experience preferred
