Job Summary
Conduct regular wound care rounds, assess resident skin integrity, and document medical history related to wound care. Implement preventative strategies in care plans and prioritize nursing interventions for wound management. Communicate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams regarding treatment needs while initiating nutritional interventions to support healing. Perform direct resident care in compliance with facility policies, ensuring incontinence residents receive appropriate pericare and preventative treatments. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols. Requires an active RN license, two years of experience, and CPR certification. Full-time role with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(K), and daily pay.
Required Qualifications
- Active Nursing License (RN) as required by the state
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum two (2) years of experience as an RN or LPN
- Ability to lift and move patients and items up to 75 lbs
- Strong vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize wound care needs
