Wound Care Clinical Nurse

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of nursing care. Delivers patient- and family-centered care, educates patients and families on illness management and post-treatment home care, participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and develops/implements individual care plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team, patient, family or caregiver. Utilizes comprehensive nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs and communicates plans of care across the continuum. The role is safety-sensitive and requires the ability to work in a constant state of alertness.
