Worship Pastor

Job Summary
Plan worship services with the pastoral team and lead the musical portion of Sunday services at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM. Manage, train, and shepherd volunteer worship teams while developing processes to recruit new volunteers. Oversee the worship tech ministry, live-stream services, and a staff of content creators for print, web, video, and social media. Develop an annual ministry budget and utilize organizational software like Planning Center. Shepherd volunteers and preach or teach the Bible when requested, while officiating weddings and funerals as needed. Attend all staff meetings and retreats to support the church's mission of making disciples in Concord, North Carolina.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of ministry experience on staff in a leadership capacity at a local church
- A growing personal relationship with Christ
- Possess strong character, wisdom, and discernment
- A lifestyle congruent with the Biblical requirements for leaders (1 Tim. 3:1-13; 2 Tim. 2; Titus 1:5-9)
- Fully supportive of the Baptist Faith and Message, 2000
- Significant skill as a singer and musician
- Should have experience leading and managing teams
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and some formal theological training is preferred
- Experience leading worship at a similar-sized church
- Experience leading worship teams
- Demonstrated proficiency in organizational software (preferably Planning Center)
