Job Summary
Lead and oversee the worship ministry across all services and environments for Trace Church, focusing on recruiting and developing worship leaders and vocalists, shaping and strengthening worship culture, shepherding the spiritual lives of team members, and ensuring gatherings are spiritually powerful and musically excellent. Responsibilities include recruiting high-capacity vocalists and musicians, overseeing auditions, building a sustainable leadership pipeline, developing worship leaders in craft, culture, character, and Christ-centered leadership, directing weekend worship, collaborating with production teams, and developing scalable systems to support growth and possible future campuses. Requires a clear calling to pastoral ministry, mature spiritual health, and proven experience in church worship leadership with strong musician and leadership skills. Education preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Music, Worship, Theology, or related field.

- Strong emotional health and relational intelligence
- Proven experience leading worship in a church of 3,000+
- Demonstrated success recruiting and developing volunteer teams
- Experience developing and multiplying worship leaders
- Strong communication and team-building skills
- Ability to lead through growth and change
- Strong, confident vocal leadership
- Proficient instrumentalist (guitar preferred)
- Experience leading full band arrangements
- Working knowledge of Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Planning Center Online
- Understanding of large-room dynamics and congregational engagement
