Worship Leader - FVC

Job Summary
Lead congregational gatherings at least 42 times annually by planning God-exalting, Christ-centered worship and executing weekly plans aligned with Summit Worship DNA. Recruit, audition, and train musicians and vocalists while coaching preparations for scheduled services. Coordinate details with pastoral and production staff, and directly disciple worship and production teams by identifying and equipping potential leaders. Contribute to church-wide events such as Easter and Christmas services, and attend all campus and Summit Worship team meetings. Serve as a direct report to the Campus Pastor with coaching from Central Summit Worship Staff.
Required Qualifications
- A commitment to servant leadership (Mk. 10:45; Col. 3:23-24)
- A proven proficiency in basic music theory and practice vocally and instrumentally
- A commitment to the biblical priority of congregational singing (Eph. 5:18-19; Col. 3:16)
- The theological competency to choose music for congregational settings that are distinctly and clearly Christian in its lyrics and reflect the biblical language and themes
- Administrative proficiency
- A member of The Summit Church or willing and able to become a member
