Job Summary
Lead the Room by serving as the primary worship leader, shepherding Spirit-led worship that includes pastoral moments for the congregation. Build the Team by developing and caring for volunteers while actively recruiting, training, and discipling them. Develop Future Leaders by partnering with youth ministries to mentor the next generation of worship leaders and create on-ramp opportunities for children. Shape the Culture by collaborating with leadership to align worship with message themes and partnering with other ministries to create worship as a lifestyle throughout the church. This permanent, full-time role requires 40 hours per week and involves standing for long periods while carrying up to 25 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient worship leader
- Strong vocalist
- Track record of developing and shepherding volunteers
- Working knowledge of tools like ProPresenter and Planning Center
- Shepherd-leader mindset
- Desire to see others flourish in their spiritual gifts
- Emotional and relational maturity
- Experience in healthy conflict resolution
- Experience in giving and receiving feedback
- Spiritual gifts in areas such as Leadership, Shepherding, and Creative Communication
- Permanent, Full Time employment status
- 40 hours per week schedule
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to carry up to 25 lbs
