Job Summary
World Language Teachers (Spanish) deliver Spanish language instruction to secondary-level students, develop and administer foreign language curricula aligned with district goals, create and translate lesson plans into engaging learning experiences, teach grammar, vocabulary, literature, and culture, assess student progress with accommodations for diverse learners, maintain records and communicate with families, promote parental involvement, collaborate with colleagues, and participate in professional development to stay current in the field. The role requires state certification, a bachelor’s degree in education (master’s preferred), and prior language teaching experience.
Required Qualifications
- State Certification as a foreign language teacher
- Bachelor's degree in education discipline
- Masters Degree in related area preferred
- Experience teaching foreign language
- Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation
