Worksite Monitor - Manhattan/Bronx

Job Summary
Visit each worksite in your caseload once a week, primarily in Manhattan and/or The Bronx. Ensure participants are satisfied with placements, completing maximum hours, and that sites provide a safe, supportive environment. Serve as a liaison between youth and the team to communicate information regularly, while distributing and collecting timesheets, evaluations, and program documents weekly. Monitor and report any issues or violations to proper personnel, and complete weekly monitoring assessments for assigned sites. Participate in orientations for SYEP and worksite supervisors. Perform administrative duties as necessary and other tasks assigned by the Program Director.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Ability to travel throughout NYC via public transportation or one's own personal transportation
- Possession of New York State Driver's License

- college degree or current college enrollment
- Experience working with Summer Youth Employment (SYEP)
- Ability to drive
- Passion for youth and community development
- Experience and comfort working with youth and workplace professionals
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Extreme attention to detail and strong multi-tasker
- Ability to make deadlines in a fast-paced environment
