Job Summary
Workshop, Verification and Validation Testing Manager responsible for owning integration, verification, and validation activities for autonomous ground systems. Design and execute the master test strategy, build a state-of-the-art test environment (including hardware-in-the-loop and simulation tools), and orchestrate real-world validation events from live system trials to customer acceptance tests. Lead verification campaigns, develop automated regression testing to accelerate development, and ensure traceability from customer needs to a fully validated, mission-ready system. Translate complex test outcomes into clear reports for engineering, program management, and leadership; incorporate field feedback into concrete test cases. Required experience in systems testing or V&V in hardware-software domains (robotics/defense/automotive/aerospace), hands-on test campaigns, test environments, and tools (ROS, embedded systems, Jira/Jama/Jama/Polarion), plus willingness to travel and engage in workshop, lab, and field work. Excellent English communication skills; hybrid working setup expected. Note: You do not need to meet every single requirement to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Strong background in systems testing, integration, or V&V in robotics, automotive, aerospace, or defense
- Hands-on experience delivering formal test campaigns against defined requirements
- Knack for building and managing efficient test environments (including hardware-in-the-loop) and test automation frameworks
- Structured, evidence-based approach and authority on system compliance and readiness
- Ability to translate complex test results into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with ROS and robotics platforms, embedded systems, and common communication protocols
- Experience with requirements and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Jama, Polarion)
- Willingness to travel for trials and customer events
- Excellent English communication skills
