Workshop Technician

Workshop Technician responsible for delivering, setting up, maintaining, and repairing traffic management equipment (including variable message sign trailers, light towers, and barriers), performing pre-start checks and quality inspections, organizing the workshop, assisting in assembling or modifying equipment for rental use, and ensuring safety and compliance in a fast-paced environment. The role requires safe manual handling practices, proficiency with diagnostic tools and basic electrical troubleshooting, a mechanical background (desirable), and alignment with RPM Hire’s core values. The position is based in Ormeau, Queensland, Australia, and is a full-time, in-person role with opportunities for overtime; successful applicants will undergo police check and pre-medical screening as part of the hiring process.
