Job Summary
Maintenance, tuning, and repair of rental skis and snowboards, including waxing, edging, grinding, and repairs; mounting/remounting bindings; boot, binding, pole, and helmet repairs; safety and quality checks; support for workshop services and daily equipment needs; liaising with store leads and rental technicians; ensure gear is safe, reliable, and ready for guest use; independent, detail-oriented work in a fast-paced Hakuba workshop; requires valid work rights for Japan, English proficiency, and preferred Japanese language skills.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced ski/snowboard workshop technician
- Strong technical knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Confident working independently in a fast-paced workshop
- Strong communication skills and team collaboration mindset
- Able to maintain high safety standards at all times
- Valid work rights for Japan
- Japanese Drivers Licence or International Drivers Permit
- Strong English communication skills
- Japanese language skills are an advantage but not necessary
- Previous ski/snowboard workshop experience (essential)
