Job Summary
Workshop Planner in Abu Dhabi will act as the link between front line and workshop, allocating jobs to technicians based on skillset, monitoring progress on workshop planning boards, ensuring fair distribution of work to maximize technician productivity, supporting the Fix It Right process to reduce rework, tracking WIP and ensuring on-time delivery, maintaining accurate time-clocking, and coordinating with Service Advisors for progress updates. Key skills include strong planning and coordination in a workshop environment, technical understanding of automotive repair processes, workload distribution, attention to detail, effective communication between teams, and familiarity with workshop systems (SAP).
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar automotive workshop role
- Strong technical knowledge with planning or job control exposure
- Good command of English (Arabic is a plus)
- UAE driving license is an advantage
