Job Summary
Workshop Engineer (Mechanical) at LGH UK, responsible for servicing, examination, and testing of non-powered lifting equipment in the workshop, ensuring compliance with LOLER regulations. Collaborates with the hire desk and sales, coordinates equipment availability and delivery schedules, and helps prioritise urgent customer needs in consultation with the Service Centre Manager. Requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, driving license, and willingness to travel within the UK and Europe. Desirable IT literacy and LEEA experience; open to training candidates with the right aptitude.
Required Qualifications
- LEEA trained (Foundation Course minimum) workshop engineer or mechanical fitter with service training in engineering
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
- Possession of a current, clean driving license
- Flexibility regarding working hours, including early starts and late finishes
- Occasional travel within the UK and Europe may be required
- Proficiency in LEEA (or equivalent) Machines Manual
