Job Summary
Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs on forklifts and heavy machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. Perform pre-delivery inspections, diagnose and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on a diverse range of products from electric pallet trucks to large engine-powered counterbalance trucks. Maintain accurate records and place orders using IT equipment while holding a full UK driving licence. Work autonomously within a team at one of our depots, supported by local and national technical assistance, specialist tooling, and a comprehensive induction program.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification
- comfortable using IT equipment
- full UK driving licence
- comfortable working autonomously and within a team
- experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers
- experience as forklift technicians
- experience as plant fitters
- experience as plant technicians
- experience as vehicle technicians
