Job Summary
Supervise and motivate the team of Technicians and Apprentices while proactively reviewing and prioritizing the daily workload. Ensure service and repair technicians achieve daily targets by scheduling work to meet customer needs, balancing workshop targets, job complexity, and parts availability. Maintain high customer satisfaction through relevant quality checks and ensure all working practices comply with company, DVSA, health and safety, and OEM policies. Liaise with colleagues and other departments to support a top-quality service, assist with technical challenges by writing reports, and maintain relationships with vehicle manufacturers. Report to the Aftersales Manager and participate in brand-specific training to support career progression within the motor trade industry.

- Workshop Controller experience
- Supervising and motivating a team of Technicians & Apprentices
- Reviewing and prioritising daily workload
- Ensuring service and repair technicians achieve daily targets
- Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Implementing relevant quality checks
- Ensuring working practices comply with company, DVSA, health and safety and OEM policy
- Making sure all service work is carried out correctly, competently and on time
- Maintaining relationships with the vehicle manufacturer
- Supporting Technicians during repairs
- Achieving and maintaining high standards within the workshop and surrounding areas
- Liaising with colleagues and other departments
- Scheduling work to meet customer needs
- Taking into account workshop targets, the complexity of each job and the availability of parts
- Assisting with technical challenges
- Writing technical reports
- Driving licence
