Job Summary
Manage daily yard, warehousing, and operational activities across the BCD Tubes site, coordinating goods in and picking to meet business requirements. Supervise Team Leaders and ensure operations comply with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies while driving continuous improvement and a safety-first culture. Improve processes from order receipt to fulfillment, maintain site security and asset integrity, and oversee performance management for all relevant staff. Step up to fill in for the Branch Manager during leave and oversee other departments as needed. This role supports the site Leadership Team in delivering strategic business objectives and cultural change.
Required Qualifications
- A safety focused attitude and experience of managing safety, quality, and group policies.
- NEBOSH or IOSH managing safety qualification
- Previous experience in a similar management role within an Operational environment in a manufacturing or processing environment with demonstratable experience in manging people up to and inclusive of disciplinary processes.
- Have relevant management training and experience.
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills as well as IT based understanding
- Flexibility will be needed to work/support on all 3 operational shifts as and when needed.
