Works and Wildlife Coordinator

Oversee the supervision of airside works, including the briefing and allocation of Works Safety Officer resources, ensuring the establishment of airside worksites and access routes; deploy visual aids and barriers per regulations; verify airside facilities are serviceable before return to service; liaise with AOCC and AsA regarding closure/re-opening of airside facilities; fulfill the Works Safety Officer function to support emergency works; monitor works against AWP/MOWP restrictions and precautions; ensure NOTAMs are in place before works; support response to off-airport intrusions in the Obstacle Limitation Surface; coordinate with safety teams to report incidents and coordinate emergency services; monitor maneuvering area serviceability and inspect runway/taxiway; report defects and ensure rectification; address contractor non-compliance; respond to safety incidents; coordinate incident reporting with regulators; oversee return of facilities to service; monitor wildlife activity and undertake mitigation; designated DAMP Supervisor on duty; may act up as Airfield Services Supervisor; strong written and verbal communication; willingness to obtain/hold licenses and certifications listed; role rooted in safety, collaboration, and complex coordination within Western Sydney Airport project context.
