Job Summary
Own Sydney's workplace technology end to end, managing onboarding, hardware, AV, and physical-security infrastructure for staff and guests. Lead the Workplace Technology Staff where the site has them, do the work yourself, and build the team where it doesn't. Run the technology side of new-hire onboarding on the ground, including device staging, account provisioning, and day-one setup. Own the AV and conferencing estate for meeting rooms, all-hands, and events. Inside Workplace's office buildouts, program-manage physical systems like cameras, access-control, and structured cabling by overseeing installers, enforcing standards, and ensuring network availability. Manage the local hardware lifecycle and serve as the site's top escalation point above first-line support. Resolve local requests through the shared service desk while overseeing site technology spend and forecasting with Finance. This five-days-on-site role requires 6+ years in IT or workplace technology operations and is based in Sydney.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years across IT / workplace technology, AV, or facilities-adjacent technical operations
- Experience running on-site buildouts end to end
- Comfortable owning a site
- Program manager mindset
- Ability to scope a fit-out
- Experience keeping installers, vendors, and timelines on track
- Ability to own a budget and forecast spend
