Job Summary
BeOne seeks a Workplace Services Manager in Tokyo to oversee the office’s administrative and facilities operations, including vendor management, procurement of supplies and equipment, events coordination, security, health and safety programs, and liaison with multiple departments (Commercial, R&D, Legal/Compliance, Global Security, EHS, HR, and Finance). The role requires in-office presence four days a week, collaboration across leaders, and responsibility for local regulatory compliance, onboarding of new vendors, corporate-card administration, and incident response planning (e.g., natural disasters). The position also entails managing a team of admin staff and outsourced services, coordinating with building management, and supporting office-related activities and meetings, with travel as needed. The ideal candidate will have extensive facilities/pharma experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a global, dynamic organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
- 10+ years’ Workplace/Facilities Pharma experience
- High level of customer service skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Must be mission driven and self-directed to simultaneously work productively on multiple initiatives
- Strong organizational skills
- Verbal and written communication skills in English; additional language skills beneficial
