Job Summary
Owns day-to-day operations of all three Heron Power campuses in Scotts Valley, ensuring buildings are clean, functional, stocked, and well-maintained; serves as the face of the company for guests and coordinates visits, catering, and logistics; manages vendor relationships across janitorial, landscaping, HVAC, and other services; coordinates facilities maintenance and build-out projects; ensures onboarding, access provisioning, and badge/visitor workflows; plans events and manages all-hands logistics; tracks workplace operations budget; oversees health, safety, and compliance tasks including fire/safety inspections and permits. Requires proactive system-building, strong cross-team communication, and a service-oriented approach; must be comfortable coordinating across teams and vendors; experience with Microsoft 365 tools is required; nice-to-have includes experience in manufacturing/engineering/hardware environments, badge/access-control systems, California facility compliance (Cal/OSHA, fire code), and startup/early-stage settings.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of office management, workplace operations, or multi-site facilities coordination experience
- Proven vendor management experience
- Exceptional organizational skills and follow-through
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and scheduling tools
