Job Summary
Lead multi-site facilities and workplace operations for Guardian Australia across four offices; manage facilities issues, service providers (cleaning, security), inventory (kitchen, stationery, first aid), contractor coordination for facilities projects, appliance repairs and energy/utilities checks, and vendor reviews for cost-quality balance. Collaborate with Head of IT and Operations, CFO, and other stakeholders on long-term office strategy, office moves or reconfigurations, and internal communications. Drive sustainability initiatives, manage WHS and emergency procedures, supervise on-site security, and develop policies, procedures, and staff communications. Requires strong negotiation, project management, confidentiality, and proactive problem-solving across Sydney-based offices; hybrid working arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with workplace management across multiple sites
- Demonstrated experience supervising building contractors, such as security, cleaning, and trades.
- Demonstrated success managing positive stakeholder relationships, both internal and external to the organisation
- Experience drafting policies, procedures, and communications
- Experience coordinating office modifications and/or reconfigurations
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel interstate occasionally
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles, including formal qualifications or relevant practical experience (desirable)
