Job Summary
Triage employee incidents and determine appropriate treatment for injured workers by phone. Assess employee needs and eligibility for services, ensuring timely case progression while monitoring progress and adhering to care plans. Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries, maintaining accurate records of interactions, care plans, and outcomes. Collaborate with employees, employers, and healthcare providers to optimize care and ensure compliance. This remote role involves 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM CT shifts Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or Kansas
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or an associate's degree in nursing (ADN)
- 2+ years of related nursing experience
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in ER, Urgent Care, Occupational Health, Case Management, IMCU, or Correctional Nursing
- Familiarity with OSHA reporting guidelines
