Job Summary
Deliver direct care to children with autism by following BCBAs' plans to improve life skills and collecting data on progress. Participate in monthly clinical meetings for case discussions and team collaboration. Provide 1:1 support while maintaining flexibility for school attendance and personal life. Commit to 12-15 hours of direct care weekly, working weekday afternoons/evenings, weekends, and weekends as needed. Drive to client homes daily with a valid license and own vehicle. Complete general and client-specific training under 20% supervision by a BCBA.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available to work weekday afternoons/evenings and at least one weekend session (no daytime only option)
- Must be able to commit to at least 12-15 hours of Direct Care per week
- Must be reliable and hard working
- Driver's License and own car for transportation to client homes daily (most sessions are in homes, not our office)
- Computer proficiency is required
- Must be able to stand and sit alternating for up 2.0 hours
- Must be able to squat and sit on floor
- Must be able to bend over from a seating and from a standing position
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from a squatting position
- Must be able to move quickly (sprint or quick walk) for 20 feet
- Must be able to ascend and descend stairs
- Must be able to work with people with Autism or related mental health disorders
- Must be good at following instructions
