Job Summary
Design and execute complex electrical and environmental test setups for Battery Management Systems (BMS) products. Operate laboratory equipment including climate chambers and high-precision measurement devices while developing Python scripts to automate test sequences and analyze validation datasets. Build prototypes and support early-stage robustness campaigns for automotive electronic components. Carry out measurements for concept and design validation followed by rigorous documentation of results. This Working Student role bridges theoretical design with real-world testing to ensure product safety and performance for next-generation electric vehicles within Munich Electrification's Hardware Development team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master student in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or a similar engineering field
- Strong familiarity with Python specifically for data analysis and automation
- Solid theoretical and practical knowledge of electrical and thermal measurement techniques
- Fluent in English
- Hands-on mentality
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with C/C++ or VBA
- Already worked in a professional or advanced lab environment
- German language skills
- Passion for innovative electric vehicle solutions and energy storage systems
