Job Summary
Support internal layout design for grocery delivery hubs in CAD, optimizing racking, pick zones, and storage density while preparing technical drawings for construction. Evaluate candidate hub locations using spreadsheets and statistical models to analyze catchment areas, population density, and expected order demand, then rank potential sites against rent and fit-out costs. Prepare clear recommendations for leadership based on performance metrics and ensure designs align with German building and food-storage regulations. Currently enrolled in a relevant degree such as Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or Civil Engineering, with some CAD exposure and comfort using Excel. Fluent English required; German is a plus for external stakeholder communication.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree such as Industrial/Logistics Engineering (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen), Architecture (Architektur), Civil Engineering (Bauingenieurwesen), Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable discipline
- Some exposure to CAD, with eagerness to learn and specialise quickly
- Comfortable with spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets) and a genuine interest in working with data
- An analytical, detail-oriented mindset paired with practical, hands-on judgement
- Curiosity and flexibility; you enjoy learning new tools and wearing more than one hat
- Fluent English

- German being a big plus for dealing with external stakeholders from landlords to local authorities
