Job Summary
Temporary, part-time Working Student role in Hannover Re's Group Transformation & Operations - Organisational Development & Governance to support the Enterprise Architecture team. Responsibilities include analyzing and structuring applications and interfaces, identifying patterns, developing ideas for architectural standards with colleagues, preparing results to align IT and business functions, and working with an architecture tool (ArchiMate-based) to compare model structures with data sources. Requires ongoing studies in a relevant field, programming exposure (C#, Java, Python), databases (MS SQL/Oracle), and strong German/English communication. Hybrid working model with up to 20 hours per week, 6-month duration, hourly wage around 19 euros gross per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Ongoing, advanced studies in business informatics, computer science, business administration, engineering or a comparable field
- Interest in software architecture and initial experience with programming languages (e.g. C#, Java or Python)
- Experience with databases (e.g. MS SQL or Oracle)
- Strong communication skills in German and conversational English
- Curiosity and motivation to understand complex interrelationships and contribute
- Enjoyment of analytically working into new tools and methods and creating real added value
- Willingness to engage with hybrid working model
