Job Summary
Review and update existing process descriptions, work instructions, and related documentation to ensure clarity and consistency. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current workflows and identify gaps, inconsistencies, or improvement opportunities in process flows and systems. Support the improvement of procedures and systems used to perform trade surveillance. This Working Student role is based in Hamburg within Vattenfall's Business Area Markets, focusing on Compliance & Operational Risk Management. The position supports the team in shaping clear, efficient, and sustainable compliance processes within the energy trading environment.
Required Qualifications
- currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Law, or a related field
- have basic knowledge about laws and regulations in trading compliance
- are fluent in English, both written and spoken
- have sound statistical knowledge
- a pre-employment screening
Desired Qualifications
- have a strong interest in Commodity/energy trading, e.g. understanding of price formation in auction & continuous markets, specifics of trading products, Exchange rules and general business processes
- ideally initial experience with data visualization (PowerBI)
- are able to work independently and with a high level of integrity (you handle sensitive data with discretion and confidentiality)
