Job Summary

Working Student Communications (IT) in Berlin (part-time, 12-20 hours/week) with the IT Communications focus. Responsibilities include developing and shaping a fresh IT communications profile (storytelling to service-news), designing a comprehensive communications concept and structured rollout roadmap for the IT communications department, analyzing target audiences, defining goals, and developing strategies and channels to increase visibility. You will translate concepts into concrete actions, run pilot projects, monitor ongoing communication along the roadmap, ensure quality of measures, create and publish content (intranet posts, newsletters, social media content, presentations, videos) about IT topics, projects, successes, and department news, and translate technical content into understandable formats in collaboration with IT teams. You will organize and support IT events and internal formats, and monitor trends and best practices to optimize the department’s presence. Qualifications include advanced studies in communications, media, informatics or related fields, very good German and English (C1/C1), and independent, structured work with teamwork. Nice-to-have: interest in IT topics, enthusiasm for conveying technology trends and mindsets, creative language skills, audience awareness, and interest in conceptual work with independent responsibilities. The role offers flexible hours, home office options, a collaborative team, diverse activities, and opportunities for development in corporate communications.
